Make Your Own Cleansing Strips
For Clogged Pores
by Maya

Do you use cleansing strips to clean your pores? You know,  those prepacked strips you put on you wet forehead, chin, but mostly on nose, wait till they harden, then peel them away?
They do work well, removing impurities, such as blackheads and you are usually astonished what you see as a result :-)
The only problem is when you use them more often, they could become a bit expensive. Try to calculate how much would your spend in a year just for those. Now, there is a very simple way to make your own.
I did try during time some recipes and here are some that work:

You need:
1 Tbs of milk (any kind, with or without fat content)
1 Tbs of unflavored gelatin (such as Knox brand)
glass
brush (like one for eye-shadow, abt. 1/2″ or so,
but any similar will do, you can wash it afterward)

How to:
Pour 1 Tbs of milk into glass, add gelatin and mix well with some stick.
Place for abt. 10 sec. into microwave. It should become gooey consistency.
Try it first on top of your hand if its not too hot, should be just warm.
Now paint it on your nose and whichever other area you need.
Leave it on for 10 minutes or longer, it must really harden and peel it off slowly.
Then put immediately on some good moisturizer!!!

Don’t forget to check result! Its sort of disgusting, but what can I say;  no dirt is ever pretty
and this is even interesting how simple it all is, isn’t it?

Note: You must apply right away and rather quickly when its still somewhat gooey thin!

Variation of the above:

Peel strips from egg white:

You need:
egg white
toilet paper
brush

How to:
1.cut appropriate size piece from toilet paper to cover you nose plus about inch longer on each side.
2.brush egg white well in pleases where you intent to put the toilet paper
3. apply the toilet paper
4.brush on more egg white over the toilet paper
5.wait about 10 min
6.peel off

Of course, you could make just a same for other areas, such as chin, forehead, etc…

With you more beautiful,
Maya
